5 lbs of striper fillet boiled in 6 quarts of water add 1/2 cup of sugar. Let fish boil until it floats the remove from the water. Take 1 individual pack of regular saltine crackers and finely crush them in a plastic bag.
Combine : crushed crackers 3/4 cup of milk 2 eggs 3 tbsp lemon juice 4 tbsp butter 1/2 tbsp of salt 1/2 tbsp pepper 3 tbsp of old bay
Mix fish with filler and form into 1/2 cup patties and place in a pan with hot vegetable oil and fry till golden brown.
This is his own recipe and I'm telling ya most crabbers he knows can't tell its not a 100% crab cake.

this recipe is one of the best striper recipies i have ever had. everyone should try it
