I just talked to a good friend of mine who supplies most of the tackle shops with sand fleas from Lewes to OC. If any of you want 20 quarts ( 5 gallon) he will sell them at wholesale price. If you freeze them live they work just as good as fresh but you can't re freeze them again. He will stop getting them at the end of Oct. and fish the rest of the year. I've used frozen fleas in Nov. and again in the spring when you can't get fresh and they work fine. His name is Frank and phone # is 302-684-4436

Hey Guys....I stoped at Franks place today and he went sand fleain' last night for the first time since last Thurs. when the nasty weather started. He had 24.5 buckets (5 Gallon each) on the beach and delivered 22 of them to the tackle shops from Lewes to OC. I took 10 quarts to put up in the freezer for when I can't get any and he has 2 buckets left until he goes again later this week. The fleas are there now but as the weather gets cooler they will be few and far between. He also told me you also can keep them under the dock for quit awhile with out freezing them if you have a slip.............Mike
