I've been trying to find a decent boat cover for my 202 proline DC. I have checked a lot of different websites and havent really come upwith anything I like, I bought a semi custon yesterday from west marine but for 200 bucks it was terrible. Very thin and didnt fit properly. Dont really want to fork over the bucks needed for a custom job but Im thinking that may be my only option.

For the cost of a cover I just built a shelter instead and just pull in after our trip on no need to spend time with the cover. Barry had a good set up for his that he made out of PVC and a tarp but that wouldn't work for our new boat with its shape and size so that's why I went with a 4x6 pole structure and tarp to cover it..

i put 2" pvc pipe in my rocket launchers and then it runs back to my rod holders on the transom, mad a piece to fit off the bow pulpit and then runs oup to the hard top. put a tee in it and it has a couple legs that fitonto the bow rail. then i put a poly tarp over it and use bungee cords to holditin place. got it off right now but if i get a chance i will take a couple of pics as i put the frame up then the tarp. give me a day or two.
