I read on the barn some time ago that Penn was trying hard to rebuild the quality and customer satisfaction and regain their customer base. However, faxes, phone calls and emails are not being returned in regards to some parts I need for an older crossbar style 50W. I believe Old Inlet is an authorized Penn repair facility, does anybody know from experience if they stock parts or if they have to order them? I'm looking for 1 crossbar, a reel clamp with the bolt/nuts, and the drag plate has a screw broken off in it so I need to completely rebuild the drag system and replace the clutch disc springs(drag was pretty weak anyway). It's probably not more than $50 in parts and maybe 20 minutes to do everything on a bad day but why is a manufacturer so eager not to take my money? Or, if I can't get what I need from our Philly guys, anybody have a contact at Shimano? Although I have been a diehard Penn man all of my life, lack of response once, maybe even 2 times I can accept but we're talking in the past 3 months 11 faxes, emails and voice mails that have not been returned. I REALLY would like that sales guy to call me now. He ain't gonna like my half of the conversation...

I'll give Randy another call but last time I asked he said he "outsourced" all Penn repairs.

Mike he has the parts but sends things out to be done. if you are doing it yourself all you need is the parts.
