I launched the boat Saturday in OC. Idled up to the east channel, and it started running rough right @ the coast guard station. A few seconds later it died.
Fortunately, the wind blew us into the dock @ the Marina Deck, so we tied up and pulled the cover. It looked like the fuel filter was dirty, so I changed it (shouldn't this have been done by the guys that winterized it? I'll have to check and see if they charged me for it...) Being in MD, we don't have E10, and I stored her over the winter with 1/2 tank of stabilized gas, and topped her off with fresh right before I dunked her in.
I cranked her over, and it still wouldn't start. I pulled the line from the fuel pump, and verified that it is working. So, now I'm thinking that it's not getting spark. Which I have no idea how to fix (plugs and wires are new, again: they guys who winterized it should have changed them).
Anyway, the boat's now at Full Tilt awaiting service, so I'm boatless for a week or three....
Hopefully, I can get the pontoon boat in the water this weekend.....I'm really jonesing for a flounder sammich.
