Went up to check on the boat today.Looks like I should have it back in 2 weeks.First State fiberglass is top notch.Boat is in better shape than new and stronger than new.Man says I can now power upto 250's if I want.It was a long wait but good things take time.He made the hull about 1/2in thicker than stock and it looks perfect.I will say many complain about the time it takes the man to get the job done. But his work is untouchable. My hats off to him.He also gave me photos of what it look like before and how it was covered up.I will try to get someone to scan them and post it.Even I can see how covered up it is.The idiot crammed the rotted out holes with fiberglass. The whole transom was rotted and I mean rotted.Luckly it is only in the transom.Dave says the boat is like new and ready to rock.

Just Ian now.Boat turned out great only problem was they couldn't match the paint perfect.Might take it back in around Nov for a new paint job and some awlgrip on the top.Things went as planned launching it.Ofcoarse it was low tide so we had to drop the trailer off the ramp. Then I go from the ramp to the slip.Right as I am turning into the slip I loose the port side engine. So I had to pull a crikey and do it with 1.Checked it out and they used some cheepo clips instead of hose clamps to tighten the gas line to the threeway in the motor. So I replace them and all is fine.Spent 2 days cleaning all the fiber dust off and out of her.Setup the dock and reoiled all the teak. She is sparklin again.Hopefully she will get her seatrial next week and all will go well.

Nope I didn't want to jinx it anymore than it already was.I had the WHOLE family watching me put it in.Thank god the motor didn't act up then.It is always hard to explain to them why you told them to get the F**K away from you when you are heated up at something with a dam motor. That should be a man law.Always leave your husband put the boat in for the first time without the presence of useless spectators.LOL
