First off, where the hell did summer go? I want a do over!!
Anyhoo...this is my first boat with fresh and salt water washdown. I'm planning on draining the FW tank, and then dumping in 3.5 litres of cheap vodka, so I don't the the aftertaste from that pink nuts next year.
My question is, what about the raw water pump and my bilges? should I run some antifreeze thru there? Do I need special anti-freeze, or will the green stuff work?
Also, what about my fuel tanks? I'm planning on storing them with a 1/2 tank treated with sta-bil and startron. Sound like a plan?

Recommend full tank +stabil = startron You don't want a vapor space in your gas tank. moisture in the vapor will condense out with +/- temkperature changes

Bob, i rigged an air line connection to my intake at the strainer for the raw water. i put real low pressure ~15psi air through the lines and keep opening and closing the different vavles until all the water is out. i don't put any anti freeze in the raw lines that way. another way to get the pink stuff taste from the fresh lines is to fill in spring w/ a 1/4 cup of bleach and then pump through and let it sit for 24 hours then flush out 2x's and refill.

I have a quarter tank, too cheap to fill up at these $$, and will use dry gas. I feel the best practice is what I have done for years and that is fill the tanks before pulling the rig and use dry gas/stabil

Watch out with the dry gas , it doesn't act well with the E-10 I hear
