Kyle - I have a buddy who works at UDEL on the research ship. If I can't get into his shop next weekend, I'll be looking for some help if you're available.

If you lower the trailer tongue & block the skeg then raise the trailer tongue, it will accomplish the same thing. Assuming your boat is on a trailer, all you need are some wood blocks. I would also use a safety line on the top of the motor just to make sure it doesn't fall over.

Thanks, Barry. I have to go thru both Middletown and Millsboro to get to the beach, so, whatever's easier for you.

bob, if you have to go through middletown you can make a stop at the infamous "matey's garage". you could end up w/ more than the engine crane that way. just let me know when you need it.

Barry,
How big is the hoist? Will it fit in my xB or do I need to bring my Bronco, or do I need a pickup truck?
I'd like to pick it up friday evening if you're available.

bob not sure what an xb is. it would definitely go in a bronco w/ the back seat folded down. pick up will work but not necessary if you don't have one. friday evening would be fine with me. got an idea what time?
